DON'T IGNORE THOSE NOISES!!!!
Sometimes its not what condition your vehicle is in but its the condition of the vehicles around you.... Here's some examples of the weird and dangerous things we see on a regular basis.
Here we have pictures of the front suspension of a full size GM passenger van that was being used for hauling sports teams around the Fraser valley. The customer originally came in for a clunking in the front end and to our surprise we found a very large split in the control arm.
Here we have a customer that came in to have her car checked after hitting a large piece of wood on the highway. Little did she know the piece of wood hit so hard that it forced the engine up into the hood, broke metal brackets and popped the radiator out of its mounts. Upon close inspection we found a bent frame and that the oil filter was holding the engine from falling out the bottom.
This customer came in complaining for a tinkling noise from there rear brakes. After close inspection it was found that an improperly installed E-brake cable had cut through the brake drum over time.
Here we have a 90's accord that someone had tried to weld the main lower suspension back together.
This customer came in with a complaint of clunking in his front end. Upon an inspection we found that his ball joints were so worn out on his S10 Blazer that they were trying to pop out of their sockets.
This one came in for clunking in the rear end. once we pulled the inspection cover this is what we found.
This truck came in for an icbc inspection after it had been stole. Upon inspection we found the left front brake had gone to metal and eaten half of the metal brake rotor away nothing.
